Enduring Power of Attorney (Financial)
Is a legal document by which you appoint a trusted person (referred to as “the attorney”) to make personal, financial, legal and property decisions on your behalf if you lose the mental capacity to do so yourself.
You assign an Enduring Power of Attorney to a trusted person to make appropriate financial and personal decisions for you.
Among the tasks an attorney can execute on your behalf are: bill payments, document signing, property transactions, and managing shares or bank accounts.

However, if you become incapable of making decisions, either on a temporary or permanent basis, you can opt to assign a representative who can make medical decisions on your behalf.
